Built precipitously on a rocky spur surrounded on two sides by a ravine and on the third by a vibrant village square, it has a backdrop of craggy mountains to the north and stunning views of the Mediterranean coastline to the south. Life in this very French village is year-round. The cobbled streets abound with craft shops. There is a regular Provencal market on Wednesday morning offering a delicious array of Provencal delicacies, locally grown fresh produce, clothes, linen and craft items. You'll find just about all you need on a daily basis too, with 2 bakers, 2 butchers, 2 greengrocers, 2 hairdressers, a small supermarket, and even a library. There is a great selection of characterful bars and restaurants - one with a Michelin star.
