Le Moulin has its own lake and stream and is surrounded by woodland so we are in the middle of nature which is perfect for the fauna and flora; we are in a noted area for a large range of orchid species as well as many other beautiful rare plants and the sound of the hoopoe, king fisher and golden oriole is common while lazing in the garden. Our one bedroom cottage is ideal for those wanting to get away from it all, yet enjoy all the comforts of a modern gite. You can enjoy the peace and quiet here, where most of the time all you can hear is nature; the birds and the stream and sometimes the church bells. We are surrounded by woodland and it feels like you are in the middle of nowhere, yet with the reassurance that within minutes you can be in a bar or restaurant in the village catching up on daily French life, while enjoying a coffee and croissant. We run our small micro brewery (Perigord Beers) on site and invite our guests to see how we make our beer and if they wish to sample our artisan beers they are invited to a free tasting session. We've been operating for 3 years and our guests welcome the opportunity to experience this as part of their holiday but for those that aren't into beer it doesn't impact on their stay in the gite.
