Vacation apartment at the "old post office"

Welcome to our apartment, which is located in a charming old building in Burkheim on the first floor. Due to the central location, you can easily reach the beautiful old town of Burkheim in just a five-minute walk. The location in the heart of the Kaiserstuhl and along the Rhine offers many leisure opportunities. Our apartment (about 50 square meters) was completely renovated and refurbished with a lot of love for detail in May 2021. We look forward to welcoming you. Your Jäger family The space The bright bathroom has a shower, sink, toilet, mirror cabinet and various storage options. Towels and toilet paper are also provided. The kitchen is fully equipped with a toaster, kettle, Senseo pad coffee machine, Caffissimo capsule machine, egg cooker and everything else you need in everyday life. In the bedroom there is a TV with German television program, a large bed and a sofa that can be converted into a bed if necessary. Roller shutters for darkening are provided. The apartment also offers a very spacious patio on the ground floor, which is intended for your sole use. A table and four chairs are provided. If you arrive with bicycles, you can easily lock them up right here. Here you will also find the separate entrance to the apartment as well as two parking spaces directly on the property. We are a family of 4 with 2 children and are always happy to help you with any questions. Other things to note In the village there is a beautiful swimming lake, which offers a cool down on warm days. In the neighboring village (2 km) is a large shopping store as well as a newly reopened outdoor pool. There is also a train connection to Breisach or Freiburg between Burkheim and Bischoffingen. A bus connection to Freiburg and Breisach can be found 100 meters away. With the Konus card, which you receive free of charge when booking, you can use the bus and train connections free of charge. The area around the Kaiserstuhl invites you to hike, cycle and enjoy. Please be aware that after booking you will be asked to provide your arrival dates so that we can plan your stay and check-in accordingly. City tax/tourist tax is €2.00/person per night. This must be paid in cash on site at the moment of your arrival. The card gives you numerous free or discounted admission options in the surrounding area.
