The Nook

The Nook - a beautiful cottage located in Sudbrooke, just 5 miles from Lincoln centre. The Nook boasts beauty and charm throughout, with each room radiating a unique feel through both traditional and modern decor. Includes a hot tub! Perfect for those who are looking for a relaxing mini break, or week away. Surrounded by countryside walks yet still great for those looking for a trip into Lincoln for food and shopping! We have farmers fields to the rear which are sprayed a couple of times a year The space The ground floor spaces encompasses a beautiful cottage style kitchen, equipped with all of the essential items that you’ll need during your stay: kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge freezer, oven, sink and dishwasher. The dining area is a comfortable airy space that will seat 6 guests (4 chairs will remain around the table, there are an additional 2 in the cupboard in the dining area). We ask that guests consume food in this area and not in other rooms. The lounge is a unique space, boasting a beautiful, large window that provides an outlook into the garden. You will find comfort in one of the sofas, armchairs or love seats, depending on your preference! The lounge is complete with a tv. There is a bedroom located off the lounge which can be set up as a sofa or a sofa bed, dependant on the number of guests staying. This can be viewed as a second lounge area, or it can be made up on request as a double bedroom. Complete with a tv. Due to the age and type of the property, you will climb a, short but fairly steep, staircase to the first floor (banister). The landing has a full length mirror perfect for those last minute outfits checks before heading out! Off the landing, you will enter the bathroom that boasts modern charm. This room has a tranquil and minimalist feeling in comparison to the rest of the cottage. The perfect room to relax after a day out exploring! There is a storage cupboard next to the bath, and one under the sink. The large bath tub is a super inviting piece within this room, and is complete with an over the bath shower. To flush the toilet, please wave your hand over the black sensor. The bathroom has been finished to an excellent condition, comprised of special touches including hardware and taps. Heading along the landing, you will find the twin room. These beds will remain as two singles at all times. Complete with storage and a tv. You will then find that the final bedroom, the super king bedroom, is a dreamy space to unwind and settle down for the night. There is a full length mirror located in this room, perfect for getting ready for the day, with sockets in close proximity. Complete with storage, wardrobe and tv. There is an additional shower room located outside of the main cottage. This is comprised of a toilet sink and shower. Perfect for when you’re hopping out of the hot tub or if you have returned from a day at the beach! The exterior of the property boasts a large grassed garden space and with parking for at least 3 cars. There is a patio area complete with privacy screening which makes it the perfect area to relax and enjoy your break. The finishing touch to this area is a gorgeous hot tub, providing you with the perfect opportunity to enjoy the outdoor space even during those colder months! Guest access Guests have full usage of the property and grounds. Excluding garage and behind the garage where it is signposted as no entry. Other things to note Unfortunately we do not allow pets. We are located along a main road, please take care.
