The space Gwen’s House is a lovingly restored 1800s quarryman’s cottage set in the peaceful village of Brynsiencyn. Ideal for couples, families or friends, it sleeps up to four guests and welcomes well-behaved dogs. With a private hot tub, cosy log burner and easy access to beaches, walks and island attractions, it’s the perfect Anglesey base. Sleeping Arrangements Main bedroom: Double bed, wardrobe, under-bed storage, Smart TV, iron, ironing board and travel cot. Second bedroom: Double bed with single bunk above, desk and chair, Smart TV and compact storage. Bathroom Modern wet room with rainfall shower, hairdryer and mirror. Kitchen Fully equipped with oven, hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge-freezer, washer/dryer combo, cookware and utensils. Living & Dining Open-plan space with dining for four, breakfast bar, comfortable sofa and chair, original stone fireplace with log-burning stove, wall-mounted Smart TV, Nintendo Switch (Mario Kart & Mario Party), books and board games. Outdoor Spaces Private west-facing patio with hot tub, pub-style bench, garden heater, charcoal BBQ and LED lighting. Communal garden area with canopy bench for relaxing in the sun. Off-road parking at the rear plus free on-street parking. Technology & Comfort Smart TVs in bedrooms and living room, Wi-Fi, Amazon Alexa and streaming apps. Heating throughout, washer/dryer, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Family & Pet Friendly Dogs welcome, (£30 cleaning fee) with open fields and quiet lanes nearby for walks. High chair and travel cot provided. Guest access Guests have full private access to the entire cottage, the west-facing patio, and your private hot tub. You’re also welcome to use the shared garden area with the covered bench. Parking is available directly behind the cottage, with additional free on-street parking nearby. Self check-in via a key safe makes arrival easy at any time. Other things to note The hot tub is fully cleaned, refilled, and tested before each stay. Because of this, it may take a few hours to reach full temperature after you arrive. Please shower before using the hot tub to help keep the water clean throughout your stay. The log-burning stove is easy to use and creates a lovely cosy atmosphere. Firewood is not supplied, but you can buy logs and kindling at the village shop, local garages, or nearby supermarkets. Gwen’s House is a traditional 1800s quarryman’s cottage, so some features have historic character, including lower ceilings in places and original stonework. Dogs are welcome (pet cleaning fee £30). Please keep them off the beds and furniture and clean up after them. There are open fields and quiet lanes nearby for walks. The bathroom is a wet room, so please take care walking on the floor after showering. Off-road parking is available behind the cottage, and there is free on-street parking nearby. The access lane is typical of rural Anglesey and may feel narrow, but it is easy to navigate slowly. Smart TVs are provided in the living room and bedrooms. Guests will need to use their own streaming logins. While the Wi-Fi is reliable, rural internet can occasionally be slower than city speeds. Charcoal BBQ provided — please bring your own charcoal if you plan to use it.
