Surrounded by gentle greenery, this upstairs private suite is part of our home but with a completely separate entrance to ensure full privacy and independence for your stay. Designed to feel like a personal retreat, and blends homely comfort with modern essentials, making it ideal for couples, solo travelers, digital nomads, and long-stay guests. The space includes an air-conditioned bedroom, a modern private bathroom, a fully equipped kitchenette, and a small outdoor sitting area. The bedroom features a king-size bed with fresh linens, a wardrobe with mirror, a compact work desk, chairs, bedside lighting, and tiled flooring for a cool, clean atmosphere. The bathroom is fitted with a hot-water shower (solar-powered with electric backup), a modern WC, a tabletop wash basin, a large mirror with lights, and an exhaust fan. A simple and practical kitchenette includes a gas stove, 250L refrigerator, kettle, utensils, plates, and a small dining table, allowing guests to prepare own meals and snacks during their stay. Outside the entrance, a small seating area with chairs and a stool offers a quiet spot to relax. The property also includes on-site parking, convenient access to supermarkets, hospitals, pharmacies, fuel stations, restaurants, and other essentials within 2 km. Guests can also request meals from nearby connected restaurants and laundry services for added comfort. Guest access Guests will have full private access to the entire upstairs unit via a dedicated exterior staircase. The staircase leads to a small entrance passageway that opens directly into your private suite. You will have exclusive access to: Private entrance with your own staircase Air-conditioned bedroom Private modern bathroom Kitchenette with dining area Small outdoor sitting space On-site parking inside the property No areas are shared — everything within the upstairs unit is for your use only. The neighborhood is peaceful and safe, and you may come and go at any time. I’m always available if you need assistance, local tips, or help arranging meals or laundry service, transportation etc. Other things to note Access via staircase: The suite is located on the upper floor and is accessible only by an exterior staircase. Please consider this if you have mobility limitations. Kitchen use: The kitchenette is ideal for preparing light meals. Cooking with strong aromas (deep frying, seafood curries, etc.) is not recommended to maintain freshness of the space. Hot water: Hot water is powered by a solar heater with an electric backup for rainy or cloudy days. Laundry service: Laundry can be arranged on request with a 23-hour turnaround time. A price list is available in the room. Meals: I do not personally cook, but meals can be arranged from nearby restaurants on request. Parking: Private on-site parking is available for cars, scooters, and tuk-tuks. New addition: A scooter rental option will be available from February 2026 for guests who wish to explore Galle conveniently. Quiet residential area: The property is located in a calm, family-friendly neighborhood. Please respect quiet hours after 10 PM. Drinking Water: Complimentary drinking water is provided as two 500ml bottles per day. Extra bottles are available for purchase Visitors: For security and privacy, outside visitors must be pre-informed and approved.
