Imagine: You wake up, enjoy your first coffee, and look out your window directly at our fluffy alpacas. Our exclusive lodge offers you pure relaxation: Dream in high-quality hotel beds, enjoy spa moments in the modern, seamless bathroom, or snuggle up in front of the fireplace. Here, design meets nature – ideal for couples seeking tranquility. For a truly special experience, you can book an alpaca hike as an add-on. Pure relaxation! The space The Rottal Alpaca Lodge: Your special retreat in the countryside Welcome to a place that is not a traditional farmhouse, but rather a lovingly designed retreat on a beautiful property. The lodge is a cozy self-contained apartment located in my traditional red Swedish house. Here, you can enjoy absolute peace and a warm atmosphere. The alpaca experience right outside the door The highlight awaits you right outside your windows: Just about 15 (50 feet) away, our alpacas graze in their pasture – sometimes these curious neighbors even come right into the garden outside your apartment. From the cozy outdoor seating area, you have an unobstructed view of these fascinating animals. Living & dining: Coziness The apartment is ideally designed for 2 people, but thanks to a sofa bed in the living area, it can accommodate up to 2 additional guests (for an extra fee). Here you can: Make yourself comfortable in front of the cozy fireplace (a high-quality dog bed is provided). Have breakfast together at the dining table and enjoy the view of the countryside. Thanks to high-speed Wi-Fi and a TV, you can relax and stream or enjoy a “workation.” Step right out onto your little patio and breathe in the fresh country air. Sleeping like on clouds In the separate bedroom, relaxation comes first. The high-quality hotel beds guarantee a deep night's sleep (can also be set up as twin beds on request). The rustic wall finish and the soft lighting create a cozy ambience. Your private spa Our bathroom offers a spa-like experience for your downtime: Seamless shower with rain shower head. Comfortable warmth: underfloor heating for a pleasant climate. Plush towels and high-quality fittings are provided. Cuisine & Food The compact kitchen is functional and furnished with care. Cook on the open-flame gas stove or use the coffee maker (coffee & tea included). Spices, vinegar and oil are provided for you. Arrival & Parking Your relaxation begins as soon as you arrive: A separate parking space is available for you right in front of the house. If you are arriving with two cars, there is also a public parking lot directly across the street, diagonally opposite. Special extra: Would you like to get up close and personal with the alpacas? On request, you can book alpaca hikes directly with me. Guest access Your getaway starts in a completely relaxed way: You have a separate, private entrance at the back of our red Swedish house. This way, you can arrive completely independently and feel right at home. Orientation made easy: To help you find your way around right away, we've prepared a short video for you showing you how to get to the lodge. You will find it in our digital guest folder, which will be sent to you automatically by email once you have booked. You can simply take the key from our key box – we will also send you the correct code in good time. Important note: Please remember to fill out the registration form using the link in the guest folder. Absolutely! Look forward to seeing you! Other things to note Alpaca safety & vacations with dogs Our alpacas are gentle, flight-prone animals, and we attach great importance to their well-being. Feeding & grazing: Without exception, you may only enter the pasture and feed the animals when accompanied by us. The wrong feed can be life-threatening for alpacas. Dog etiquette: Your furry friends are welcome, but they should always be kept on a leash within the fenced area and on the property. Since alpacas are very shy, we ask that you keep a sufficient distance from the animals. Trekking: Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed to accompany you on our alpaca hikes. Please make sure that your dog can stay in the apartment alone and relax during this time. Important note for smokers (life-threatening!): Smoking is allowed only on the terrace/patio (ashtray provided). Cigarette butts on the ground are deadly to alpacas, as they eat them out of curiosity. Please dispose of them exclusively in the ashtrays. Thanks for your cooperation! Important note regarding building services: Since our house uses a septic system, we urgently ask that you only flush toilet paper down the toilet.
