It's in the heart of a wonderful friendly small village Flateyri. The house is spacious and cozy, newly refurbished with a breathtaking view over the harbor area and into the beautiful fjord -the harbor just a few meters away. It's said to be one of the most beautiful fjords in Iceland, the Onundarfjord (Önundarfjörður) and we agree! A really superb location for visiting many of the main attractions in the Westfjords. Private and lovely outdoor area, we have a private garden and a nice terrace with outdoor furniture, hot tub, (at the moment only used in the spring/summer/autumn) and gasgrill, available for guests to use. First floor: The heart of the home: a great open spaced high ceiling kitchen- dining- and living room, you will love it! Fully equipped kitchen. Spacious hallway. Bathroom with a shower, and also the washer&dryer. On 2nd floor we have 4 bedrooms, 2 good sized ones and 2 very large bedrooms. 1 queen in one room. 1 queen/twin in another. 1queen/twin and a sleeper sofa in of of the more spacious rooms. 1queen/twin in a large bedroom. Possibility of 1-2 mattresses, suitable for kids, in the other large bedroom. Also on 2nd floor, nice bathroom with a new walk-in shower and a bath tub. Large windows and unforgettable ocean- and mountain view. What a spectacular morning view while brushing the teeth:-) We are design lovers and have put our heart into renovating and refurbishing the house and we must admit, we absolutely love being there; the house embraces you and with the high ceiling it gives you a feeling of space and comfort. We are foodies, so we have the kitchen well equipped for home cooking. The usual check-in time is 16:00 but flexible if the house is available earlier. Usual check-out time is 11:00 (but can also be flexible). We want our guests to have an unforgettable experience, create unique memories, and feel at home at our house. Guest access Access to all amenities in the house. We provide towels and bed linen. Shampoo, conditioner and soaps. Washer and dryer. Guests have access to strong free wi-fi internet connection. Please help yourselves to coffee and the basics in the kitchen (oil, sugar, salt etc).
