A refuge in Darmane, Mukteshwar where a wide panoramic view of the Nanda Devi range to Panchachuli to the Nepal Mountains reveals as clouds part. The winding trails of the sleepy village of Darmane lead to a dense deodar forest trail and it's many discoveries. In Niamat Kothi, our blessing, the outdoors seep indoors through our large windows into nature. The property has our mountain view sit-out, a garden blooming with flowers. Seasonal herbs, vegetables and fruits grown are used in our meals. The space Our two-floor unit has a lounge and kitchen in the ground floor. The spiral staircase leads you to an upper wooden bedroom with an attached bathroom, reading room and balcony. Local vegetarian meals cooked by our local cook cum caretaker are yummy and are charged at Rs 350. For non- vegetarian meals pl let us know a day in advance and they are charged at Rs 500 per meal.
