West wing, Longnäs Manor

The West wing at Långnäs Manor once served as accommodation for guests of SKF’s mining office which was housed at Långnäs Manor. In modern times the West wing has been used primarily as residential apartment. Since August 2025, short-term rentals are again offered in the West wing. Långnäs Manor is located by the lake Stor-Gösken, approximately 200 meters from the first tee of Hofors Golf Club and Hofors Padel. Hofors and its surroundings offer many opportunities for sports and sightseeing. The space The West wing currently offers two bedrooms spread over two floors. There is a spacious room downstairs containing a sleeping area with a Euro Grand King size bed (180 x 200 cm) and social areas with a sofa and smart TV. There is also a wardrobe, desk and armchair, mini fridge, kettle, and tea/instant coffee. Upstairs is another bedroom with a King size bed (160 x 200 cm), chest of drawers, armchair, and washbasin. Adjacent to the hallway downstairs is a newly renovated bathroom with shower. Guests are also welcome to use our garden. Vehicles can be parked in our parking lot adjacent to the manor. PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING: Cleaning and textiles are not included in the price. We can either rent out the West wing with more personal responsibility or with more convenience. Guests who choose personal responsibility bring their own textiles (bedding and towels) and clean themselves before check-out. There are four single duvets, four pillows, and cleaning equipment at your disposal. Guests who want more convenience can rent textiles from us and purchase professional cleaning services. Rental of textiles costs 125 SEK/person and cleaning services cost 1 250 SEK. Guest access Guests have the downstairs room, the upstairs bedroom, bathroom, and entrance hall at their disposal. Other parts of the building are closed off. Free parking is available next to the manor for 2-3 cars. Guests are also welcome to use our garden. Please note that our dog often runs loose on the property. Please let us know if this would cause you any discomfort and we will try to avoid this during your stay. Other things to note 1) As a guest staying at Långnäs Herrgård you can buy discounted green fee tickets to Hofors Golf Club. Senior: 50 SEK discount. Junior: 25 SEK discount.
