Whether you are gathering with family , celebrating with friends or simply just escaping the city for fresh air and long walks the Stables offers comfort and character . The beautifully styled interiors make the space feel both luxurious and relaxing The superb open plan living space is the heart of the Stables with a large table made for long breakfasts and laughter late into the evening . The cosy log burner and Aga create a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere especially after a day exploring the countryside . Location: The Stables are situated very conveniently for access to the A1 and A68 . Darlington, Durham and Barnard Castle , Newcastle are all within easy reach offering fantastic places to visit whether it be for sightseeing, shopping or just exploring the many attractions that the area has to offer; Raby Castle, Kyren, Locomotion Museum, Beamish , Metro Centre to name but a few Other things to note There are 10 acres for guests to explore . My horses graze in some fields but if the gates are open you are very welcome to walk dogs or simply just walk to take in the breath taking views.
