Spacious vacation home/farm in the Thuringian Forest near Rudolstadt and Leuchtenburg - The three-sided vacation farm consists of a renovated farmhouse, a separate annex (with separate apartment for two) and a barn. The farmhouse has 2 floors and can accommodate a total of 11 people. On the first floor there is the living and dining area, a kitchen and a separate toilet. Upstairs are 2 shower baths, 2 toilets and 7 bedrooms (a total of 11+2 sleeping options). The space In the living area there is a foosball table. In the yard, we have chairs and tables and a grill. Pure nature - ideal for hiking, cycling, relaxing and unwinding. If you are looking for peace and fresh air, then this is the place for you. In addition to nature, there is also a lot to discover nearby: palaces and castles (e.g. Leuchtenburg, Heidecksburg, Weissenburg) to visit and marvel at; the Saalemaxx leisure pool for bathing mermaids and mermen, for porcelain lovers the porcelain factory with factory outlet in Kahla; the city triangle at the Saalebogen in an 8 km radius: the fairy grottoes with the fairy forest in Saalfeld - especially enchanting for children, Rudolstadt - Schiller's secret lover and Bad Blankenburg with Friedrich Fröbel, Falkenhof, lavender and the Schwarzatal. Larger well-known cities can also be found in the area: Erfurt with its cathedral, Merchant's Bridge and shopping facilities, Goethe's Weimar for culture vultures and the university town of Jena with its planetarium and many quaint pubs. And the best part: all three can be reached in less than an hour's drive. Guest access The whole house and yard are at our guests' disposal. The attic and barn are not accessible. Other things to note Since October 2021, we have also had a charging station for electric vehicles with 11 kW on the farm. Billing is done separately. Charging cable must be brought along.
