Gimli Lakefront Bliss

Our 3 bedroom cottage is just steps away from a quiet limited access beach. With immaculate views of Lake Winnipeg, our property has 3 outdoor decks to enjoy the views. In addition, enjoy the open concept living, dining and kitchen space. During the winter months, take advantage of the proximity to Lake Winnipeg for ice fishing. You and your crew are bound to unwind from life’s worries at our blissful paradise, minutes from the quaint town of Gimli. The space - Three spacious bedrooms - 4 beds total, extra pull out available for groups of 7-8 people (5 beds total) - 1 single air mattress (bring your own bedding) - 1 queen air mattress (bring your own bedding) - Two and a half baths - Open concept living, dining and kitchen - Entertainment space - Steps away from the beach - Large wrap around deck - Large upper deck facing the lagoon - Stand up paddle board with paddle - Two kayaks with paddles - Infant (2), kid (2), youth (2), and adult (2) life jackets Guest access Guests have access to the entirety of the main house. Please do not enter the workshop that is located behind the garage. Other things to note Fish fly season usually happens in late June to mid-July around Lake Winnipeg. They can look a little overwhelming when they arrive, but don’t worry—they don’t bite or sting, and they’re actually a good sign of a healthy lake. They only stick around for about a week or two. You may notice them on the decks in the morning, so a quick brush-off usually does the trick. If at any point they become overwhelming, just let us know and we’ll happily send someone out to clean them up. Guest have access to our stand up paddle board (located in the garage) and our 2 kayaks (located on the side of the house). We also have a variety of life jackets and fishing rods. Ice fishing season: Ice on the lake side is notorious for being thin in some spots. To remain safe, you can access the lake by snow mobile on the lagoon (south side) or drive into town and enjoy the ice fishing village.
