FARMHOUSE @ Porcupine Hills Guest Farm

Perfect for couples or families, the Farmhouse is situated on a hillside with views of the cliff-face, the olive orchards, the valleys and the surrounding hills. Located on the Diepklowe Private Nature Reserve we have 1000 acres of fynbos and renosterveld that is home to a wide variety of birds and wildlife. Hikes, views, riverine forests, olive groves, streams and rock pools and a reed-ringed dam - swim, kayak, picnic or just sit under the willow tree and quietly enjoy the solitude. The space A comfortable cottage with 2 en-suite bedrooms and a loft space with 2 single beds. This space has no bathroom but is perfect for older kids or friends who are happy to share an en-suite bathroom with one of the bedrooms (there is an extra per night rate, just let us know if you want to use them). One bedroom can be made up as either a king bed or 2 singles and the en-suite bathroom has a bath and an overhead shower as well as a hand-shower. The other en-suite has a walk-in shower. Comfortable double-volume lounge with a large fireplace that opens onto the covered veranda with an outside dining table and chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped with an eat-in table, large fridge, freezer, oven, stove, microwave and dishwasher. The shady private garden has a braai area, outdoor seating, a large pool with loungers as well as a wood-fired hot tub with wonderful views over the valleys and hills, as well as the cliff face, Eagle Rock, home to a pair of Verreaux eagles. WiFi We supply a stock of firewood and firelighters, bathroom amenities, tea, filter coffee, sugar and a taste of our Porcupine Hills organic olive oil. If needed, you can buy more crates of wood @R100/crate. Guest access The Farmhouse has its own private access, garden (not fenced) & pool. While the Farmhouse & its grounds and pool are for your private use, Porcupine Hills Guest Farm is located on the greater Diepklowe Private Nature Reserve, therefore all exterior spaces (beyond the private garden) are available for communal use by all guests e.g. the hiking trails, dam etc. Other things to note The Farmhouse has the option of 2 additional single beds in the loft (bathroom would be shared with one of the en suites from down stairs). Access is a steep staircase - best suited for older kids!
