Elephant Point Lodge (Kruger NP)

Lodge is situated in the exclusive Elephant Point Estate in Kruger National Park, Elephant Point offers villa accommodation within 26 km of Skukuza Airport. The luxurious villa has views over the Sabi River and into Kruger National Park. Daily housekeeping is also included. Chef services are available, and If you would like groceries delivered they will be delivered at cost should you wish. The space The luxurious villa is air-conditioned throughout and features a fully-equipped kitchen with everything you could need and laundry area. Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, patio and TV. The open-plan dining and living area is equipped with a fireplace and opens out onto a spacious patio with barbecue facilities. There is daily housekeeping included during your stay. At Elephant Point can relax beside the private pool or at the built-in table and chairs. End off the day in the private boma area, with an open-air campfire and the wildlife. Guest access Below are a few details regarding Elephant Point Estate, Mangwa Lodge; Check-in as per the confirmation letter is 15h00. Upon arrival, if prior to 17h00, you will just sign in the register at the main gate with the security gates man, if after 17h00, then you will also be handed the lodge key at the gate when signing in. The security will then direct you to Mangwa Lodge which is also clearly marked for you. Once you enter the lodge you will also notice the relevant paperwork such as the registration and indemnity forms, as well as the WiFi voucher will be on the dining room table inside the lodge already for you and either of management will come and greet at you at the lodge once settled in. Below are details for guided game drives into the Kruger National Park, which can be reserved directly with us; Morning Game Drive - 05h30 until 10h30 - Pick up from Elephant Point at your lodge Costs @ R 650.00 p/p (Excludes park/conservation fee) OR Full Day Game Drive - 05h30 until 14h30 - Pick up from Elephant Point at your lodge Costs @ R 1,050.00 p/p (Excludes park/conservation fee) OR Afternoon Game Drive - 14h00 until 18h30 - Pick up from Elephant Point at your lodge Costs @ R 650.00 p/p (Excludes park/conservation fee) There is a minimum charge raised for 4 guests, should your party be 3 guests and less, then the above rate per person will be multiplied by four for the minimum charge due. This does however give you exclusive use of the safari vehicle. Kindly advise should you wish to pre-book any of the above mentioned safari options? The rate includes bottled water, tea & coffee and the services of a professional, top-quality guide. The rate excludes the Kruger Park Conservation (entry) fees of ZAR 372 per adult for international tourists and ZAR 93.00 per adult for SA citizens. These fees can be paid directly to the Kruger Park at the gate (in cash or with your credit card). Wood, charcoal and firelighters are already prepared for upon arrival and charged for only on consumption. The rates for pre-arrival shopping is as follows: Checkers, Hazyview: R450-00 for transport and a 15% handling fee on the overall invoice, Woolworths, Nelspruit: R950-00 for transport and a 15% handling fee on the overall invoice, Please see attached shopping list and advise if you would like assistance in this regard? Please also be advised that Protea Hotel, Kruger gate is approximately 10 minutes’ drive from our Gate and they do have restaurant facilities. The villa booked is on a self-catering package, with a fully equipped kitchen and a boma facility privately adjacent to the lodge where you are able to prepare a normal wood "braai" for yourselves. Elephant Point does offer wood, charcoal and firelighters already prepared for upon arrival and charged for only on consumption. The villa is also serviced daily and the housekeepers approach the lodges by 08h00 onwards. Basic items such as tea, coffee, sugar, coffee creamer, as well as ice are provided. There is also daily cleaning service around the garden/pool/boma at the Lodge. Swimming towels are provided for use around the outdoor pool.
