Birchwood train station is a 20-minute walk, and Manchester Airport is just 25 minutes away. We're here to ensure a relaxing stay😊 The space Welcome to our newly renovated home, beautifully styled with a modern cottage inspo. Together, we’ve created a super relaxing space where you can unwind and feel right at home. Our home is wonderfully private, tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac with no houses directly in front. This peaceful setting lets you enjoy the gentle songs of birds and a relaxing, natural atmosphere. A Little Heads-Up: This is a working household — We're usually up around 6am for work during the week, but we’ll always do our best to keep things quiet in the mornings. We also have two lovely pets (a cat and a dog) who are very well-behaved, though you may hear a little pitter-patter from the dog and a meow from the cat from time to time (our cat can be quite vocal). 🏡 Living Room: A cozy, bright space perfect for relaxing after a day in the office or exploring. It features comfortable seating, a smart TV, and plenty of natural light. 🍳 Kitchen: Fully equipped with everything you need to prepare your meals — including a stove, oven, microwave, fridge, and all essential cookware and utensils. There’s space in the fridge and freezer for your groceries. Enjoy your morning coffee with the coffee machine, and make use of the convenient hot water tap with filtered water for tea, cooking, or fresh drinking water. Plus, there’s an air fryer, microwave and toasty maker available for quick and easy meals. We're happy to work around you whenever you want to prepare a bite to eat. Feel free to use the kitchen at your convenience, and you’re welcome to help yourself to basic condiments, herbs, and spices. 🛏️ Bedroom: This cosy double room includes a day bed that can be used as either a single or a double, with a medium-firm foam mattress, comfy mattress toppers, and a summer/winter duvet. There’s a dressing table, perfect for getting ready or working on your laptop. The room has a TV with Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, and more for your entertainment. In the top drawer of the TV cabinet, you’ll find toiletries in case you’ve forgotten anything. The room also features blackout curtains for a restful sleep, a clothes rail for your wardrobe, fresh towels, and a multi-option charging cable. 🛁 Bathrooms: A bright, clean, and welcoming shared bathroom with both a relaxing bath and a refreshing shower. We provide fresh towels and essential toiletries — and if you happen to forget anything, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered with the basics to make your stay as comfortable as possible. 🌳Outdoor Space: Relax in the peaceful outdoor area featuring a large comfortable sofa and a spacious table perfect for dining. The setting is usually very quiet since we’re right next to a beautiful nature reserve, making it an ideal spot to unwind and enjoy the fresh air. During your stay We met while living in Brighton, we moved there solo to meet new people and explore. We're friendly and love a good chat but we're also happy to give you space whenever you want some peace and quiet. Steph works from home, so she’s usually around. If you need anything, just give me a call or ask—i'm happy to help. Other things to note We don’t have any children, but we do have two fur babies - cat and cat. Both are well-behaved and very friendly. Since Steph has allergies, the house is always kept very clean, and we use air purifiers upstairs and downstairs.
