You’ll have complete access to all the rooms, as well as the outdoor decking area – so you can relax and make yourself at home. Other things to note Tydd St Giles Golf & Country Club is set in the tranquil Cambridgeshire Fens, straddling the border areas near Lincolnshire and Norfolk.  The estate covers about 150 acres of landscaped grounds, including a golf course, lakes, nature trails, and leisure facilities.  It is part golf club and part holiday-lodge community: many people own or rent lodges on the estate, enjoying a “country club lifestyle” with facilities on-site.  Because of its location, it’s reasonably accessible — about 15 minutes’ drive from King’s Lynn, and within reach of the Norfolk coast and surrounding attractions.  ⸻ Golf Course • The course is an 18‑hole layout, Par 70.  • Length: from the “back tees,” around 6,091 yards (White tees) with a Standard Scratch Score (SSS) of 68.8.  • The tees and greens are reported to be well maintained; the greens are somewhat larger than average.  • One of its notable features is that golf is offered 52 weeks of the year — meaning play is available year‑round, subject to weather and course condition.  • The course was designed by Adrian Hurst. Built of Barnack stone, it features a detached bell tower, separate from the main church, which is grade I listed.  • Bell Tower, South East of Church of St Giles — The detached tower itself is historic and quite striking.  • Old Church House — Grade II listed, late 17th century, with two building periods, brick construction, on Church Lane.  • Paget Hall (Hockland Road) — Built in 1868 by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott, this red brick former rectory is picturesque and has gardens.  • Park House — Another listed building (Grade II) in Tydd St Giles.  Nature & Leisure • The countryside around is very peaceful. There are nature trails around the Lodge / Golf & Country Club, walks by a lake, birdwatching, maybe even local wildlife.  • Tydd St Giles Golf & Country Club itself offers golfing (18 holes), a clubhouse, and outdoor leisure. A nice option for a relaxing day out nearby.  Shopping & Local Produce • There are farm shops around Tydd St Giles — local produce, fresh items, good for ingredients if you’re cooking.  • For larger shopping, you may need to drive to nearby towns (Spalding, Kings Lynn etc.). The lodge suggests these are not far.
