The marina also rents stand up paddle boards, kayaks and skiffs. A short ferry ride away from the hustle and bustle of the city! Or subway, car or bike ride! A rustic and charming wood-paneled floating paradise in Jamaica Bay. Eat lobsters on deck while rare birds fish in this bird sanctuary. 4 blocks to the ocean. And surfing! Beds are classic boat berths- The banquettes which create comfortable seating during the day convert to sleeping quarters. There is not an option for this type of bed on Airbnb. They are comfortable, but akin to camping in some ways. Refrigerator, cooler, toaster oven and hot plate for cooking in the galley. The marina's bathroom and shower facilities are quite nice. ***To be clear- the toilet and shower are a walk down the dock. ***Fish from the deck or float on a raft at sunset....This is a unique opportunity to enjoy a one-of-a-kind accommodation and get a taste of a fantastic, alternative lifestyle. The A train is two blocks away at b 60.th street. There is also a ferry to Manhattan nearby! There is a well-stocked convenience store just outside the marina gate. As well as a Dunkin Donuts. Stop & shop 10 blocks away. So much great food is in Rockaway!! Phenomenal options on the boardwalk! The beloved Rockaway Beach Surf Club! Goodie’s Caribbean food a short walk down the boulevard. Uma's uzbek cuisine outstanding and so fresh and clean! Thai Rock and Bungalow Bar are fun and delicious with the best sunset bayview around! Whit’s End outstanding pizza or the classic New York Slice at Elegante! Pico is dynamite Mexican in Belle Harbor- fancy margaritas and innovative takes on fabulous Mexican fare. One of my faves!!This is going to be a spectacular summer! Bring your bike if you like. You can lock it inside the marina. A bike ride the length of the boardwalk is amazing and a refreshing, zen daily habit. I added a guidebook of some of my favorite spots. It will grow and grow! The boat is inside a private, gated marina. 2 guests maximum unless we chat. 2 night minimum on some holidays. My apologies- no pets. **NOTE: THIS IS A DWELLING. THE BOAT DOES NOT HAVE AN ENGINE AND IS STATIONARY AT THE MARINA** Guest access Guests have the whole boat to themselves. There are neighbors very close by in a shared, gated marina.
