Nestled in the beautiful village of Cwm Penmachno, in the heart of Snowdonia National Park, Seren offers the perfect base for couples, friends or families to reconnect with the wild, with each other or with themselves. The drive to the cottage through the Machno Valley alone, will take your breath away! The space Surrounded by mountains, waterfalls, winding streams, and endless walking trails, Seren Cottage is perfect for those who feel happiest outdoors. Newly renovated, every detail was designed thoughtfully and with intention, to create a calm, comfortable retreat without compromising the ‘chic’. Whether you love exploring, stargazing, fire-pitting, wild swimming or simply listening to the calming rhythm of nature, I’m excited to share my beautiful quarry cottage with you, as your home from home. 🛏 Sleeping Arrangements MASTER BEDROOM - Super comfy double bed with skylight and views of the stars. THE BUNK HOUSE - Single bunk beds (adult size). Storage draws for clothes. Ozzy the Ostrich to light the way. ‘Link-detached’ to the master bedroom. Western, cabin design. THE SNUG - Set up as a second sitting room as standard but can be used as a third bedroom on request. Double sofa bed, floor length mirror, hanging rail, ornamental fireplace, commissioned ceiling mural. Window seat with views of the valley. Ensuite shower room. Modern-chic design. ________________________________________ 🍳 Kitchen & Living Spaces • Chic open-plan kitchen–diner, fully equipped with oven, hob, microwave, air fryer & fridge, pans, crockery, baking essentials & cleaning supplies • Cozy lounge featuring inglenook fireplace with large log burner, soft seating & floor cushions, smart TV with Netflix, reading material, starter sack of logs provided • Two walk-in shower rooms with toilets, wash basins & storage. If you wish to sleep in the log cabin at the top of the garden, please take your own sheets and bedding. Other things to note One bag of logs/kindling provided to get you started. Please take logs with you if you intend to use the stove. The cottage is rural - I advise to take all your food and necessities with you. There is a local convenience shop (Londis) 8 mins drive away in Penmachno. There is limited mobile phone signal as you drive into Cwm village, but wi-fi calling is consistent once you are connected at the cottage. The Snug has a second double sofa bed available on request, if this suits the sleeping arrangement better eg, 2 x couples/grandparent not wanting to go upstairs/additional teenage child etc. Charged at £15 extra per night, with all linen included.
