Made by the Suffolk Hutmakers, The Hedgerow Hut offers a beautifully handcrafted, bespoke hut to relax and reconnect. With underfloor heating, a log burner, fully equipped kitchen, shower room and king size bed, the hut offers a luxury getaway. Clare, Lavenham, Bury St Edmunds and Cambridge are all within 50 minutes. A perfect base to explore the local area. The space Nestled in peaceful countryside just outside the historic market town of Clare, Suffolk, The Hedgerow Hut is a beautifully handcrafted shepherd’s hut built by the Suffolk Hutmakers It combines rustic charm with modern comforts - perfect for a romantic getaway, a solo escape, or a short countryside retreat. Inside, you’ll find: King-size bed with all linen provided for a restful night’s sleep. Modern shower room with shower, sink, loo, and heated towel radiator (towels included), Underfloor heating throughout to keep you warm and cosy all year round. Log burner with a basket of logs for those snug evenings in. Compact sofa for relaxing with a book or glass of wine. Fully equipped kitchen with fridge, oven, dual electric hob, toaster, kettle, crockery, and cutlery. Breakfast bar overlooking the fields for morning coffee with a view. Games and books in case you feel you need some entertainment. Outside, you’ll have exclusive use of the fenced field surrounding the hut, complete with a picnic bench for dining al fresco and watching the sunset. If you want to explore the local area: Clare (5 mins) – Picturesque market town with shops, cafes, and Clare Castle Country Park. Long Melford (15 mins) – Known for antiques, Kentwell Hall, and Melford Hall. Bury St Edmunds (30 mins) – Cathedral, Abbey Gardens, shopping, and dining. Cambridge (50 mins) – Punting, historic colleges, museums, and vibrant culture. Lavenham (20 mins) – A stunning medieval village steeped in history.
