Home in Miyakonojo

There is a school around Pokapoka Inn, and the area is safe. To the west, Kirishima, famous for its shochu, rises majestically, and the scenery is beautiful, making for a peaceful stay. Since the entire property is rented out, you can stay without any worries even if you have small children. The nearest bus stop, Takagi Koko-mae, is right in front of the property, and the nearest train station, Yamanokuchi Station, the nearest interchange, Miyakonojo Interchange, and the Miyakonojo Shibushi Road are all a 5-minute drive away. There is also good access to nearby hot springs (Kannon Sakurano Sato, Aoidake, and Yupoppo), making it a convenient base for both business and sightseeing. In the store attached to the old kominka house, the owner couple run a [delicatessen/snack shop] and a [bicycle repair shop], helping out people in the local community who are in need. Paid bicycle rentals are also available. The property has two Japanese-style rooms and one Western-style room, each with a capacity of 2 people, but it can accommodate up to 6 guests (there is an additional charge of ¥4,000 per night per person for 4 or more guests). The Japanese-style living room has a TV and a sofa, and there is also a lounge area between the Japanese-style room and the Western-style room, so you can relax in spaces other than the bedrooms as well. There is no plan that includes meals, but you can cook in the equipped kitchen or purchase food at the adjacent deli. Please feel free to let me know if you have any other questions. The space The living room has a sofa for 2 people and a TV, and there are 2 bedrooms (a 6-tatami-mat Japanese-style room and a Western-style room with 1 single bed and 1 semi-double bed). There are two restrooms and one unit bath (equipped with a washing machine).There is no dryer, so please dry your laundry on the balcony or indoors, or use the coin-operated laundry in the neighborhood (about a 7-minute walk or a 3-minute drive). The kitchen is equipped with an IH stove, microwave, refrigerator, and basic cookware, so you can easily prepare simple meals. You can also have a BBQ on the balcony, so please feel free to ask us about renting a BBQ kit. Guest access Please refrain from entering the delicatessen or the bicycle repair shop when the owner and his wife are not present.(Open from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.) Other things to note Since the school is nearby, there may be times when you hear the lively voices of children.
