Magnificent mountain views surround this self-catering country cottage, situated on a working wine farm, named Seven Oaks. The cottage is situated in the middle of vineyards. Enjoy a wood-fired Turkish Bath under the stars. No TV's or radios, just the peaceful sound of the singing birds or the wind in the vines, a tranquil country retreat. The space This 1 bedroom cottage, sleeps 2 people in a queen size bed. The cottage is fully equipped with a stove, microwave, fridge, crockery, cutlery, bed linen and towels. It has its own unique quaint character, is cool in summer and has inside and outside fireplaces which can be used in winter when the surrounding mountains are snow-capped. This cottage has its own private BBQ area with a covered veranda and majestic sunset mountain views. Enjoy your own wood-fired Turkish Bath under the stars next to your covered verandah. Parking right outside the cottage. Guest access As a guest come and enjoy your free wine tasting of our Lifestyle range, at the Winery and also experience the Theatre of Aromas. You can also book a Wine Safari and enjoy many stories about the farm and vines while tasting wines (this must be pre booked at least 24 hours in advance). Walk or cycle amongst the vineyards on our farm as well as the neighbouring farms. Other things to note - We provide one complimentary bag of wood at each cottage to braai with or to heat the Turkish Bath. Should you require more than this for your stay, please notify us before your arrival to ensure that it is placed at your cottage (cost to be advised). Note: The hosts are not available for wood or firelighters during your stay, but both are available to purchase at the cellar during open cellar hours or at local farm stalls. To heat the Turkish Bath, you will need 2-3 bags under normal weather conditions, and in winter (when very cold), up to 5 bags may be required. - With the current water situation, we are watching our water usage. As we have boreholes we are able to fill up the Turkish Bath for stays of 2 nights or longer, but for 1 night stays we request an additional R300 if you are wanting to use the Turkish Bath. - We have wifi available at the cottages for those unable to travel without their laptops.
