The space This cozy and compact country house is perfect for a peaceful getaway. It features two separate bedrooms with built-in wardrobes for convenient storage. Between them stands a traditional wood-burning stove, bringing warmth on cold winter evenings and adding a touch of rustic charm. The spacious walk-through living room with a sofa, armchair, table, and TV offers a comfortable place to relax together. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances, a dining table with chairs, and even an authentic wood stove that creates a cozy atmosphere in autumn and winter. For your comfort, the kitchen is equipped with electric underfloor heating. The bathroom includes a shower, toilet, sink, and washing machine – everything you need to feel right at home. The bathroom is also heated with electric underfloor heating. Guest access The entire house is at your disposal – bedrooms, living area, kitchen, bathroom, and yard. Guests are welcome to use all amenities, including kitchen appliances, TV, washing machine, and the cozy wood-burning stove. Outside you’ll find a covered terrace with a seating area and a sandbox for children. For active leisure, we also provide 3 bicycles and one pair of Nordic walking poles – perfect for exploring the surroundings and enjoying nature. Baltinava is a small, peaceful, and welcoming village in Latgale, where you can experience the charm of unhurried country life. Just a few minutes’ walk from the house is the bus stop with regular connections to nearby towns (Balvi, Alūksne, Rēzekne) as well as a direct route to Riga. In the village you’ll also find two shops with groceries and daily necessities, plus a pharmacy – everything you need is within easy walking distance. Other things to note The house has a light country feel – sometimes you can hear chickens clucking, birds singing or other sounds of nature from the yard. The stove runs on wood – if you want to use it, feel free to ask and we will show you how to conveniently light it. We provide clean bed linen, towels, basic toiletries and household items for a comfortable stay.
