Country cabin with beautiful views

A peaceful, self-contained countryside cabin with beautiful views of rolling fields. Only 40 minutes outside of London by train and a five minute drive to the station, this is the ideal place to escape and experience the tranquility of the Berkshire countryside. 100s of walks on your doorstep, including the River Kennet and the North Wessex Downs. We welcome you to use our unheated pool - please note this is within the garden of our house. The space A self-contained wooden cabin with double debroom, bathroom and open plan kitchen diner. It has it's own terrace with beautiful views of the field. The kitchen is equipped with pots, pans, utensils, tea, coffee and sugar. There is a fridge with a small freezer box, kettle, toaster and dishwasher, as well as full gas hob and oven. It is situated within the grounds of our house, with access to the pool in our garden however we like to give guests privacy and would not be around outdoors when guests are staying. We are situated in the beautiful village of Sulhamstead, with so many countryside walks on the doorstep including the River Kennet and the Camino de Ingles walking trail. We are 5 minutes from the North Wessex Downs, and 10 minutes from the southern edge of the Chiltern Hills. There are also opportunities for wild swimming within a short walk. We are a 6 minute driver from Theale train station, from which trains into London Paddington take around 35 mins. Our stay is perfect for those seeking a peaceful stay in the heart of beautiful countryside. Guest access Fully contained annex with ample parking in the grounds of our house. Guests can access unheated 12ft pool within our house's main garden too (please note this isn't private to the annexe and therefore is not exclusive use). Other things to note Car is advised given rural location.
