Rafters

The Rafters, part of Fermanagh Self Catering is on the first floor of the converted barn, with sloping ceiling, protruding rafters and Velux windows throughout. A beautiful and contemporary white modern fitted kitchen & dining area with high and low level storage cupboards provides ample worktop space. The space All mod cons are provided in the kitchen and the dining table seats six. There is a leather suite in this area with television & DVD player. A double sofa bed features in a comfortable separate living room with leather suite, television & DVD player. This space is very flexible with the sofa bed as it may be fitted out as lounge or additional bedroom (with associated furniture). A cast iron day single bed is also in this room. The double bedroom is a comfortable size with an en-suite (with mains pressure shower), it can hold a super king or two single beds with a wardrobe, drawers, dressing table and bed-side units. There is a separate bathroom with bath, shower, WC, WHB. The Rafters self- catering unit has special features to be wheelchair friendly Guest access The tennis court is now planted and looking green and the 8foot high solid wood perimeter fencing is complete, which will make it excellent for playing football. Mountain bike hire to use on the new Circuit nearby at only £10 per bike per day. We are also supplying the use of fishing rods and tackle at £10 per tackle kit per day on our lake with its 9No. Fishing stands. Children are well catered for on-site with 14′ trampoline, slide & climbing frame, swings, football/tennis/badminton equipped outdoor area, 20′ high tree house in our wood, bicycles for all ages. There is also extensive sand pit area and lots of toys. A short forest walk through our wood on site leads to lots of space for pitching a tent and lighting camp fires! The short walk to the lake has fishing stands and large enclosed sand paddling area, picnic tables, bird hide on lough shore. Games room (for the very, very few wet days!) has 8 foot solid slate bed Snooker/ Pool table and 5 foot professional level Franklin Table football freely available. 32 inch TV with Wii and numerous games also. Games room complete with a slate bed pool/snooker table, table football, 32 inch and Wii & other games. Licensed archery, rifle shooting and cross bow by special request by appointment only available on site – please request from Mark or Caroline – £20/hour. Canoeing by request from owners as is rowing boat hire on Lake- book in advance. Rowing boat £20 each / day Kayak / Canoes £15 each / day We now have up to 22MB Wi-Fi freely available in all the accommodation with SMART TVs!
