Inside, you’ll find a spacious king bedroom with a private bathroom and walk-in shower, a full kitchen for good home cookin’, a dining area, and a cozy living room with a smart TV and a soft leather reclining sectional. Two twin-size rollaway beds with comfy foam mattresses and fresh bedding are also available, making it easy to accommodate extra guests or little ones. Starlink internet keeps you connected, and there’s a full-size washer and dryer for longer stays. Whether you’re curled up inside or out on the porch watching the sun dance on the water, this place offers comfort and calm in every corner. Enjoy your morning coffee on the enclosed wraparound porch, fish off the private pier (gear included), or kick back on the covered patio while the breeze rolls in. Covered parking makes coming and going easy. Though it feels like a world away, the property is less than 7 miles outside the loop of Carthage—close enough for a quick trip into town, yet far enough to enjoy the peace and quiet of country living. Whether you're in town for a weekend or staying a while, this peaceful country retreat offers fresh air, quiet nights, and a whole lot of Texas charm. Guest access Guests are welcome to use the covered parking, the entire house, the pond, and the area around it. Other things to note Events or extra guests are allowed only with prior consent from the host. You must provide details of the event or guests before consent is given and there will be an extra fee and/or deposit required. No pets allowed. There are some cats that live on the property and will come up to the porches. They are friendly and help keep critters away. Please be mindful that this house is in the country and there may be snakes and/or wild animals around the property. If you have any issues, please call the host.
