La Grange du Verger – Single Room La Vigne

It is in the heart of Villers-Bretonneux, a few steps from the Australian National Memorial and the Sir John Monash Center, and very close to Amiens, its Gothic cathedral and its Hortillonnages that Jean-Louis and Mercedes welcome you to their property for a break. Former outbuildings rehabilitated into pretty guest rooms, "La Grange du Verger" has two comfortable guest rooms: a single room of 2 people and a family room of 4 people. The space In April 2018, Mercedes and Jean-Louis decided to embark on this new adventure: opening a bed and breakfast. After a year of renovation work, "La Vigne", the first bed and breakfast of La Grange du Verger, opens its doors to visitors from all over the world to offer them a moment of relaxation and change of scenery. Former outbuilding rehabilitated into a lovely traditional and modern bed and breakfast for two people, "La Vigne" has all the essential comforts to allow you to make the most of your stay. This consists of a large comfortable double bed, reversible air conditioning, electric heating, a large cabinet and a TV. The private bathroom adjoining the bedroom has a large shower, double washcloth and toilet. A hair dryer, pillows, and extra blankets are also available for your comfort. A free Wifi is available during your stay. Every morning, Jean-Louis and Mercedes cook a generous breakfast consisting of pastries, bread, yogurt, cheese, fruit, tea, coffee... During the summer season, Mercedes and Audrey will make you taste the fruits of the garden through the preparation of delicious treats... The service takes place between 7:30 am and 9:30 am in the common dining room of the property. It is also in this room, to which is attached an equipped kitchen, that you will have the opportunity to prepare and take your lunch and/or evening meals in complete freedom. The kitchen includes a gas stove with gas oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and dishwasher. However, the meals at noon and evening remain your responsibility. Only breakfast is included. The property is adorned with a pretty garden where many fruit and pleasure trees and flowers rub shoulders together to form a soothing natural setting. During your stay, you have free access to it in order to recharge your batteries and meet the domestic or wild animals that give life to the "Grange du Verger". As an amateur Colombophile, it is with enthusiasm that Jean-Louis will make you discover and share his passion for this traditional sport of Picardy. During your stay We are at your disposal for the duration of your stay as well as at the time of booking in order to answer your questions and expectations. Other things to note Rider, riders, recently, La Grange du Verger has separate and secure enclosures to accommodate your mounts for the duration of your stay. We also provide hay and water. Depending on the season, your horses can enjoy the apples from the garden after the effort. Horse reception rate: €5/horse/day in addition to the nightly price (to be paid on-site). Ability to park a vehicle and van at the property (protected). Many trails including the European Route d 'Artagnan, recently labeled in the Picardy territory, allow you to discover the region by horseback, bike or walk and enjoy the exceptional landscape, calm and nature. In addition, our property was recently labeled "Bike Welcome". So, for all the enthusiasts of cycling, we provide you with bikes of different sizes. However, if you prefer to bring your own bikes, we have bike storage and tools that allow you to repair or replenish them if needed. Many routes located along the Somme Valley, on the Chemin du Halage, allow you to safely discover the territory. Finally, Villers-Bretonneux is an essential stop on the Chemin du Souvenir for all Australians and more broadly for visitors. That's why we're part of the Somme Battlefields' Partner network.
