Perched just above K-55, one of northern Baja’s best surf spots, this charming 2-story guesthouse with ocean views and beach access provides guests an unparalleled sense of privacy, security, and comfort. Located in a quiet gated community with guards on duty at all times the house and flowering grounds are hidden from the street and completely enclosed. Featuring central heat, fully equipped kitchen and private bbq area, it is an ideal retreat for relaxing with family and friends. The space Light and airy, with near non-stop ocean breezes this cozy but spacious guesthouse offers serenity and privacy. Downstairs the living, dining and front kitchen area have large windows and French doors that open onto the shared courtyard garden. The back kitchen with washer/dryer and guest bathroom opens to an outdoor dining area with grill. Upstairs are 2 large bedrooms with ocean views that open onto a shared patio and a full bath. Each bedroom has a sitting area and desk. The interior has eclectic furnishings from around the world. The living room has a piano and a pull out sofa bed that sleeps 2. Guest access Guests may use the community's swimming pool, pickle ball and tennis courts (each a two-minute walk away) with advance reservations. The beautiful beach is accessible by a staircase located within the development, about a 10-minute walk or 3-minute drive from the house. Guests are also welcome to use the beach chairs, towels, umbrella and boogie boards. For entertainment there are games and a smart TV with Netflix, HBO, Amazon, Apple etc. Other things to note Remember that the U.S. now requires a valid passport to re-enter the U.S. Of course, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) cannot prevent you from returning home, but they can delay your passage. Please check those documents well before you are scheduled to leave. Also you should verify that your auto insurance provides coverage in Baja. If not you can buy auto insurance for the length of your stay online or at the last few exits off the 5 or the 805 before you cross into Mexico. PETS. At this time Mexico legally requires a certificate from your vet, issued no mere than 5 days before entty into Mexico, confirming that your per does not have screw worm. This may or may not be enforced at the San Ysidro land crossing.
