Gîte in the heart of the Ardèche: quiet, nature, comfort

At the crossroads of the southern Ardèche, the Cévennes and the Ardèche mountains, we welcome you to a 50 m² independent cottage, located on the ground floor of our house, on the heights of the peaceful hamlet of Burac, in Mercuer. The space Nestled in the heart of nature, this comfortable accommodation consists of a bedroom with a double bed (140 cm - sheets provided), a living room, an equipped kitchen, as well as a bathroom. Ideal for a relaxing stay as a couple or solo, it will allow you to fully enjoy the authentic beauty of the Ardèche. In front of the living room, a small private terrace invites you to dine with a breathtaking view of the mountains of the South Ardèche. A few steps away, a sheltered outdoor kitchen will allow you to cook over a wood fire. It can also accommodate an extra person (sleeping in the living room), as well as a baby in a travel crib. The accommodation is independent and private inside. The terrace and outdoor kitchen are also private. The pool is accessible from 10 am to 6 pm (in season - May to September). It is used by our family before 10 a.m. and after 6 p.m. It can also be used during the day when the tenants are not there. Other things to note Nature lovers will be delighted: hiking from the gîte, swimming in the river, canoeing, climbing, canyoning, tree climbing... there is no shortage of outdoor activities! Just a 10-minute drive away, you will find all the shops and services in Aubenas, as well as the thermal baths and renowned mineral water of Vals-les-Bains. Discover the surrounding villages of character and the natural wonders of the region: * To the north: Antraigues-sur-Volane (dear to Jean Ferrat), Jaujac and its volcano (20 min), Mont Gerbier de Jonc (1 hour) or the ski resort of La Chavade (50 min). * To the south: Vogüé (15 min), Balazuc (30 min), Labeaume (40 min), Ruoms and Vallon Pont d'Arc with its famous arch and the Chauvet Cave (45 min).
