Holiday in a 180 year old mill

Spend your holidays in a 180-year-old mill, surrounded by meadows, fields and forests. Visit this mystical place and slow down. You wake up in the morning and have a coffee on the mill stream or on cool days in front of the fire-burning stove. The mill with its ponds and the surrounding nature invites you to pause. A walk in the woods starts at the property and you walk directly into the Eggegebirge. A cycle path leads directly to the entrance to the mill along. By bike it goes to the castle to Dringenberg (2 miles), the moated castle after Neuenheerse (2km), in the count's park to Bad Driburg (7km) or continue to the castle Gehrden, Castle Rheder or to the Weser. Within a short drive you can reach the episcopal city of Paderborn, the beautiful Detmold with over 800 listed buildings, the Hermannsdenkmal, or the world heritage castle of Corvey. In the evening you return to the mill and drink a glass of wine in the evening sun, barbecue or read a book in front of the fireplace.
