Stylish Apartment with Private Terrace and Garden and access to a large Pool

Casa della Scrittrice (The House of the Writer) is situated just a few kilometres from Ostuni, nestled in a peaceful olive grove. As part of our Bed and Breakfast, 'La Pineta' offers an intimate space for those guests who would prefer a little more privacy. La Pineta is a stylish studio with its own private entrance. A large airy room with a comfortable double bed and a spacious sitting area to sit and relax, there is aldo a separate kitchenette and a generous shower room. Outside is a private sun filled terrace with a table and chairs. Steps lead up to a secluded private garden area with views down through the olive grove to the 'Pineta' - a large group of pine trees. The rooms is beautifully appointed with a mix of carefully chosen antiques mixed up with contemporary pieces, the kitchenette has everything you need to enjoy the wonderful local produce that is readily available all year round. On arrival you will find a 'Welcome Basket' as well as general kitchen essentials, so you can just relax and enjoy yourself straight away. There is a large salt water pool which is shared with our other guests staying in the Bed and Breakfast at Casa della Scrittrice, as there are only two B&B rooms the setting always remains quiet and intimate. David and Francesco, your hosts, are on hand should you need any help or advice during your stay from ideas on days out or which great restaurant you should chose for lunch or dinner. Casa della Scrittrice is situated in the countryside between Ostuni and Ceglie Messapica and is ideally placed to explore the whole of Puglia and even on into Basilicata. The house is set in almost two acres of olive grove and is surrounded by a garden filled with native shrubs and flowers, the salt water pool with its sun drenched terrace offers views out across the valley to further olive groves and scattered Trulli. We provide all linens, including pool/beach towels, La Pineta will be cleaned and linens changed weekly to offer you more privacy during your stay. Fresh linens or extra cleaning are available for a small fee.
