The space ​With a unique location situated in a valley with an exceptional panoramic view, the Quinta do Marvão is located in the natural park and ecological reserve,only 3 minutes from the medieval town of Marvão. Wake up with the sounds of the sheeps going through the Roman road, take a delicious breakfast in the romantic atmosphere of the arcades of granite or in the quiet atmosphere of the porch and prepare for moments of pure relaxing or adventure with the scenic walkings, birdwatching or exploring the castle. The Studio has 36 m2, a marriage bed, an extra-bed, and a kitchnette full equipped for a gourmet meal on the romantic porche. Guest access There are many activities you can do in this region: - Hiking - there are beautiful walks you can do, that start right from the Quinta and are sinalized tracks. Besides, you have picnic baskets available you can take with you, if you wish. - Horse riding - You can explore the beautiful landscape and unspoilt nature of the natural parc and ecological reserve on horse riding enjoying the spetacular scenery of Marvão and surroundings. Even for those who have never ridden a horse. - Swimming -Within the property of Quinta do Marvão, you have 2 small pools where you can cool.Besides, near the Farm, there are wonderful places to swim, where you can be in real contact with the nature: just 5 minutes away, there is a river poll - the Sever river, in "Portagem". Some km after, there are the beautiful lakes in Povoa e Meadas, where you can swim with the storks. If you prefer, there are traditional swimming-pools too. - Bird Watching - within the property of Quinta do Marvão there are beautiful rare birdspecies that are the delight of lovers of birdwatching. - Tennis - Only 10 minuts away from Quinta do Marvão, in Castelo de Vide, there are 2 tennis court. Guests of Quinta do Marvão are able to rent a court for 5 € per hour. - Gastronomy - is one of the main interests in this region, to taste the food and the well-known wines of Alentejo.
