Lakefront Cottage: Beautiful Sunsets and Bass Fish

Visit us lakefront in beautiful Lake County, California for sunsets, award winning wines and hiking adventures! Our home offers 2 acres to run and play! Well behaved pets are welcome. Private boat ramp for all of your water toys! Boat dock fits 2 boats. Electrical outlets provided for bass boats. Due to negative experiences we will not rent our home to those without reviews. This is a policy that we have agreed to with our neighbors and the sheriffs department. Thank you for understanding. The space Our cottage, the Fig is completely remodeled and has all new mattresses, linens, towels and furnishings...not to mention all new paint, flooring and fixtures. We have a new patio and privacy screen added with your own BBQ. Our pier is new in 2022 and is a great place to relax, birdwatch and enjoy the lakefront view. Grab a bottle of award winning Lake County wine and spend the evening enjoying our beautiful sunsets. We opened our home eight years ago and are Airbnb Superhosts! We enjoy hosting people that are respectful of our home and understand that we are a family who has worked hard to provide a relaxing oasis to visitors. Please do not book with us if your plans include illegal drugs, smoking, damaging the kitchen and new appliances, being disrespectful to our neighbors and then complaining that you have seen a bug outside. This is not our intention with opening our home. Now for the fun stuff....The Fig shares two acres with The Oak, our other listing that is also available for rent. This listing and price are only for the Fig. There is space to park your car, truck, trailer and boat. If the Fig is rented we do not rent the Oak and visa versa unless it is to the same family/friend group. We have kayaks and life jackets for our guests. Let us know if you would like to borrow a fishing pole! Award winning bass are caught in our cove! Our home is located on a cove on two acres between Nice and Lucerne, CA on Highway 20. Guest access Guests will have access to the cottage, the pier, including the boat ramp. Full access to all two ares of our property. The two garages on the property are locked. Other things to note Tax: We do not charge our guests a separate 11% Lake County Transient Occupancy Tax- this is included in the rental cost. Pet Policy: We accept up to two well behaved, potty trained dogs or cats. The property is fenced in; you are sorely responsibility for their health and safety. With the low water year, they can get to the beach from our boat ramp and will need to be closely watched. Pets are not allowed on the furniture, so please bring their travel beds/crates. Please clean up after your pets, you can place poop bags in outside garbage cans near garage. You are liable and responsible for any damage caused to our home and property by your pets. Security: We have security cameras located outside of the home that we turn off upon guest arrival. They are prominently located and monitor the property when we are not home. They are on all entrances/exits of the property including the boat ramp. We do not have any cameras inside the home or in "common areas." We are respectful of our guests. Boat Ramp: There is also a Public Boat ramp located in Lakeport, Ca. Call the County for updates. Out boat ramp is available for bass boats, jet skis and kayaks. Wildlife: We have wildlife that frequent the property including lake otters, deer, turkeys, raccoons, squirrels, and foxes. Please be respectful of all our furry neighbors. We are lakefront so you may experience at dusk gnats and other flying critters.
