Enjoy renting our large house: 7 bedrooms = 7 double beds, 1 floor mattress 2 places + 2 single beds (18 people) Gather your loved ones in this country house with authentic charm: 7 bedrooms, billiards, fireplace, library and a multitude of games for young and old. Inflatable spa, barbecue, brazier, bread oven, gardens and a friendly terrace complete this ideal place for cousins, birthdays or stays with friends: nature, relaxation and friendliness! The space The house has 7 bedrooms, offering comfort and privacy even for large groups. Two bathrooms are available: one with bath and shower + toilet, the other with shower, washing machine and dryer + toilet The common areas are designed to share good times: a large dining room that can accommodate up to 16 guests, a cozy living room with sofa and an entrance with reading area near the fireplace, as well as a very well-equipped kitchen (Two ovens, 1 Mr Cuisine food processor, 1 oil-free fryer, a microwave, 5-burner gas stove... Ask us what you need!) For leisure, you will enjoy a games room with billiards, darts and ping-pong, a library and many board games for young and old. Outside, the garden offers relaxation and activities: inflatable spa, swing, terrace for meals, barbecue, brazier and even a traditional bread oven. All in a quiet setting, surrounded by nature. Ground floor: Entrance with fireplace, shower room, kitchen, dining room, billiard room First floor: The second bathroom, and 4 bedrooms The second floor: 3 bedrooms The garden in front of the house is about 500 m², it is composed of the inflatable spa, a terrace for eating, a swing and a hut for the little ones. Leaving this garden, you will come across our bread oven, which is located in an annex building. This is also where you can park your vehicles (We have 2 car spaces in a row along a low wall and 2 other car spaces also in a row) the other cars must therefore be parked on the spaces available in our place or in a parking lot located in the village 1.5 km away Please note that our accommodation is old, it has many stairs and steps, with several different levels, and no room is on one level! Guest access You will have access to the entire accommodation, excluding the DIY workshop and the visible mezzanine room above the living room (storage of our belongings, during your rentals) Other things to note Located in Saint-Hilaire-la-Croix, in the Auvergne countryside, the Maison des Fées enjoys a peaceful and green setting, ideal for unwinding. Just 10 minutes away, you will find the essential shops: renowned butcher shop Les Saveurs Auvergnates, bakery and small grocery store in Saint-Pardoux, as well as supermarkets in Gannat or Combronde. The surroundings are full of varied activities: Nature & hiking: the Gour de Tazenat (crater lake), iconic volcanoes such as the Puy de Dôme or the Pariou, the Lemptégy volcano, or the Fais'Art path. Leisure & parks: Vulcania (45 min), Le Pal (1h15), Fades Viaduct bike trail (40 min). Culture & relaxation: Thermes de Châteauneuf (20 min), Vichy (30 min), Clermont-Ferrand (40 min), Montluçon (1h). Golf: a compact golf course 20 minutes away and several courses within an hour's radius. Transport access: Riom-Chatel-Guyon train station 20 min, Vichy train station 35 min, Clermont-Ferrand/Aulnat International Airport 40 min. An ideal base from which to explore Auvergne, the volcanoes and the Combrailles. We have a cat that will come to visit you during your stay. Nino lives outside, but he sometimes comes through the front door (little rascal), so don't be afraid of animals, and dare to put him back outside ;-) He is very cuddly, and will be happy to receive a bowl of kibble!
