A room for you alone

Retreat, relaxation, and inspiration at the Polchow rectory: Our Brombeerstube is located on the first floor and, with its timber framing and cozy furnishings, gives you a sense of security. Your private bathroom is right next door under the roof. Additionally, you have access to spacious common areas on the first floor and the ground floor, including a kitchen and dining room. There is plenty of space to unwind, relax, go for walks, cycle, or take trips to the sea or nearby lakes. Other things to note The Griever Holz forest is just 500 meters away. The room faces east, overlooking the church garden and an 800-year-old linden tree. In the morning, you will be awakened by birdsong. The property is surrounded by old trees, and at night you can enjoy a clear starry sky without light pollution. Two cats live on the property, so other pets are only allowed by arrangement. Retreat, inspiration, valuable time. Our garden house (former sexton’s house) is available exclusively for you – with a view of our beautiful natural and parish garden, where you can also relax. Here you will find space and time for yourselves and your recovery. You can go hiking, walking, cycling, or birdwatching. Our parish house is located between the Baltic Sea and the lake district in the Mecklenburg park landscape, only 500 meters from the protected Griever Holz forest. Several times a year, creative retreats and workshops take place. Yoga, massages, writing prompts, and other activities can be booked at any time, some for an additional fee. You can also make your own herbal oil. Parking is available on our property. To preserve the pleasant atmosphere, smoking is not permitted anywhere on the premises – we thank you sincerely for your understanding.
