It's also worth noting that that the Outer Hebrides are a year-round destination. While the wildflowers of the spring and long evenings of the summer provide for a wonderful holiday experience, clear skies are as likely in January as in June! Opportunities for walks and wildlife continue through the winter; the pub remains open for a winter tipple; you have the beach all to yourselves; and if you’re lucky, you’ll get views from the north of the island to the snow capped peaks of Harris or to experience the elusive northern lights. As a case in point, all the photos of the house and the surrounding area were taken between January and mid-March. Guest access All areas are accessible for guests.
