The Loft is a private en-suite 2nd floor double bedroom in a family home, located in a quiet leafy cul-de-sac. Within walking distance of historical Cambridge city center & colleges (15min), Fitzwilliam Museum & Botanic Gardens (10min), train station (25min) and quaint world-famous Grantchester village (20min). Local amenities within minutes of walking include a well stocked mini-market Co-Op, delicatessen, Flux Coffee barista, delicious Maison Clement patisserie, post office and garage. The space Spacious, bright, cozy and quiet double bedroom with private en-suite shower (wetroom), toilet and basin. Maximum two person occupancy. Suitable for a single person or a couple or a parent with a child (10yo+). Perfectly located just south of the historic city center to explore Cambridge and the surrounding area, yet only 50 minutes train journey to London's Kings Cross station. Guest access Guests access The Loft via the main entrance hall leading to the staircase to reach their private en-suite bedroom on the 2nd floor. Note to guests that the bedroom is accessed via two flights of stairs and would not be suitable for anyone with restricted mobility. We help to bring luggage upstairs on check-in and downstairs on checkout. Use of washing machine and tumble dryer are availble on request. Although there is no kitchen access, perishable food items can be stored in the family fridge/freezer by arrangement. During your stay We work from home and greet our guests in person on arrival and see them off on check-out. We are available most of the time, but can also be contacted on mobile messenger apps (mobile number shared on check-in) and AirBnB messaging. If guests are lucky to stay with us on Saturdays or Sundays, they will be treated to home made muffins or apple pie (please warn us of any allergies), served in their room. We can help with advice for local attractions, travel plans, places to eat and any other general questions to help you enjoy your time with us. Other things to note We have a very friendly and quiet dog who lives downstairs in the kitchen and is not allowed upstairs. Guests are welcome to say hi - he loves socialising and getting extra attention.
