Make some memories at this unique and quiet 3 bed cottage close to hikes and mountain biking trails. Secure storage for hiking gear and bikes etc. provided. Back-up electricity and instant hot water provided with perimeter sensors, lights and cameras with armed response. Come unwind and hear and see the birds and nature talk louder than the city buzz. The space A very authentic farm cottage with wifi and all amenities. Two blocks to walk to the local wine farm, pub and hotel for wine tasting and good vibes and any featured sports. Please bring furry friend’s beds, food and bowls. Poop scoop provided. They can enjoy lovely leashed walks on the van der stel pass. The property is fully fenced. No sleeping on couches allowed. Single mattress provided for one adult or child. Guest access The house and garden are open for use by all guests and four-legged family. The locked garage is available for storage of any sport gear on arrangement. The 3rd bedroom is an outside cosy room across from the kitchen entrance. Smoking is allowed outside of the house. Other things to note The cottage is a stones throw away from the local hotel, wine farms, pub, shops and restaurants. There is a craft market with local curios and fresh produce at the railway station every last Saturday of the month. Excursions to the Elgin market can be done with a trip on the steam train from the local station, only 4 blocks away. This is a very small and close knitted farm community with old world charm, including it’s of thrift store with antiques and pizza and a fabulous local Biltong shop. The best of the local meats, preserves and produce can be bought at 2local farm stalls 7min drive on the N2 towards Grabouw /Cape Town. Kleinmond and Hermanus beautiful beaches are 20minutes drive away. Arrabella golf course and spa is 10min from town. Caledon spa and casino is 35min drive. Arrabella golf and spa in Kleinmond is 10min dive. Houw hoek hotel and spa is 20min drive.
