The Barn at Valentines in Hurstbourne Tarrant.

This stylish place to stay is perfect for a couple exploring the beautiful Test Valley and the surrounding area and all it has to offer. It is in the centre of a vibrant village with glorious local walks and wonderful country pubs for delicious local food and drinks. Equally it makes a brilliant base for a local wedding or family party. Taxis are easily booked in advance if you don’t want to drive! The Barn is entered up outside steps so unfortunately not suitable for those with disabilities. The space The Barn is a first floor apartment backing onto the vegetable/cutting garden where you can enjoy a glass of something cool as the sun goes down. There is an open plan living room and kitchen. The kitchen area has a breakfast island to eat at and the kitchen is equipped for simple self catering. There is a shower room with loo, basin and walk in shower. There is also a washing machine. Drying wrack and iron and ironing board are also there for your use. The double bedroom is spacious with a chest of drawers. There is also hanging space off the sitting room area. Have a cosy night in and light the wood burning stove in the living room. The heating is by electric radiators. The is an electric fan for those hotter days, although with the windows and doors open there is a wonderful through breeze. You are very welcome to sit in the little garden behind the property where there is seating and an umbrella for some shade. Guest access The Barn is for your use and is very private. We will from time to time need to access the garages and flower room below. You will be very welcome to use the sitting area in the cutting garden at the rear of the Barn by the french doors from the living area or the front door. This is a work in progress at the moment!
