An open rectangular plan defines the ground level, which passes onto green garden foliage and a fountain through floor-to-ceiling glass windows and sliders. The house sits like a pavilion within the garden, the actual walls of the house becoming the perimeter hedges, trees, and borrowed views beyond. Bedroom 1 includes a California King pillow top mattress, high thread count linens, custom cabinetry, washer/dryer, and a 9 foot sliding glass wall opening on to a covered outdoor 'living room' and garden. Bedroom 2, if desired, is a bonus space off the hallway which closes off with a curtain (as does Bedroom 1) to create an additional sleeping area for up to two people. Situated on the most desirable street in Venice, amid historic Craftsmans, architect-designed homes, one block from world famous Abbot Kinney Boulevard. It is walking or biking distance from historic Venice canals, the boardwalk, and the beach. Abundant street parking available year round, as well public transportation within walking distance. Guests have private entry, private garden and private ground level of structure to themselves. We do require a drivers license, photo ID or passport to be shown upon check-in. The cleaning fee of $150 is applied per week of stay. Guests staying longer than 1 week will have a housekeeping service fee applied every week. A 12% local occupancy tax for stays less than 30 consecutive day will be applied in addition to the nightly and weekly prices. During the Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years holidays, unfortunately there is no check-in or check-out available during the following nights: 1. the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, the Thursday of Thanksgiving, and the Friday after Thanksgiving 2.
