The space This new home offers two spacious, modern bedrooms and bathrooms set in separate areas for privacy, along with two inviting living spaces, a full kitchen, European laundry, and a large balcony with stunning views of the Prosser River where you can witness the beautiful sunrise and sunset every day from and if you watch for a while you may see large schools of fish, seals, and the resident sea eagle. Around the property you may see kookaburras, echidnas, wallabies & potaroos and in the evenings you hear the crazy noises made by the local spotted quolls, possums and Tassie devils. We have also been very lucky to witness amazing auroras from our property. The master bedroom boasts a comfy king-size bed, ensuite, walk-in wardrobe, river views, and direct balcony access, while the second bedroom features a queen-size bed and wardrobes, conveniently located near another bathroom and separate toilet. Bedrooms and bathrooms are supplied with towels, linen, spare blankets and pillows and beach towels are kept in the linen cupboard where you will find spare bed linen if required. There’s a roomy lounge and an open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area that flows onto the balcony, complete with plenty of seating, a wood fire, and tables with bench chairs for outdoor meals, all overlooking the river and bushland. The balcony can be enclosed and locked for comfort. Beautiful hardwood floors, a second indoor wood fire, three TVs and WIFI. The fully equipped kitchen with everything needed to create delicious meals, including basic condiments, farm fresh eggs and cooking essentials round out the home’s features. Guest access Guest access is through the double gate, with parking available on the property. You are welcome to use the carport. The main house is reached via the walkway to the balcony, which has a security screen door and a lockbox. The lockbox code will be provided on your arrival day. Please keep the gates closed, as our chooks sometimes wander into the main yard. The shipping container home, which is used for storage, Bungalow where the hosts reside and tool shed are off-limits to guests. You’re welcome to visit the lower yard where the chickens live, but please keep the gate shut. you can also enjoy watching the parrots, but avoid touching them as most do bite. Guests have access to ample wood for the fires—just let the hosts know if you need assistance. Other things to note We appreciate you treating our home and possessions as if they were your own. We also cannot allow pets, as we have parrots and 2 of the Paradise hens think they are the owners and often wander into the main yard, even though they aren’t invited.
