An ancient english cottage recently restored to the highest architectural standards. The cottage has lovely living spaces with underfloor heating downstairs and a woodburner on each floor. An ideal base for walks in the woodlands and bio-diverse meadows behind, to the river below, and in the mountains beyond, or just to relax in and enjoy country air and spring water. 100+ Megabyte Wifi and good space for working. Rural tranquillity. The space Substantial living space upstairs with woodburner. Large but cosy kitchen/dining room downstairs, also with woodburner. One bedroom on the ground floor, off the kitchen, one upstairs off the living room. Full bathroom is on the downstairs level, as is a utility room. Well-furnished with high quality furniture and fittings in traditional style. Guest access Access is via the upper floor where parking is. The ground floor door of the kitchen can be opened but the area outside the door belongs to the main house. Other things to note A supply of wood for the burners is available outside the cottage on each level. If you need a lot of wood we can supply it at cost. For walking bring wellington boots or walking boots as the terrain is grassy and earthy.
