Where better to spend the long summer evenings! Enjoy the beauty of the countryside when you stay in this unique space looking across the surrounding fields. The shepherds hut sits in its own field of 1/2 acre for your exclusive use, it has a wood fired hot tub and exterior seating on a large deck. Close to the ancient town of Rye with its many restaurants, pubs and cinema and blessed with a 16thCentuary pub a leisurely 10min stroll from the hut. Close to the beaches at Dungeness and Camber. The space THE HUT IS HEATED BY A LOG BURNER AS IS THE HOT TUB, WE HAVE RISKED ASSESSED THAT THIS IS NOT A CHILD SAFE PROPERTY. A Stunning shepherds hut finished to a high standard. Very comfortable double bed; fully plumbed luxury shower room at the other end. Kitchenette with dining area and seating with combi oven, kettle, toaster, fridge with small freezer and 2 ring induction hob and a log burning stove to keep you toasty. It's fully equipped with everything you might need such as pots and pan, towels and linens along with a selection of novels and boardgames. There is also a Bluetooth speaker. The heating is sourced by a log burner for the hut and the hot tub. Please bear in mind you will need to be able to attend to the fires independently. There is also a small electric heater which can be turned on should you wish to not light the fire. The hot tub can take approximately three hours or so to heat to temperature with a blazing fire which has been well attended and the lid closed. The tub will take longer to heat up if the fire is not blazing or the lid is not on. Watching and tending the fire with glass of wine is all part of the pleasure of the countryside experience. If you have trouble getting the fire going let us know as soon as possible and we'll do our best to assist. We leave the tub full and the fire laid to easy your initial use. Bring a pair of wellies in the winter months if you'd like to enjoy a stroll round the field or across the surrounding countryside. There are public footpaths very close by. Please note we do not provide charcoal for the BBQ but we provide ample kindling/fire lighters and logs for your stay to be used for the hot tub and log burner, we do not provide logs for the fire pit, in the case that you run out there is either the farm shop a couple of minutes’ drive away where you can purchase these items or you can purchase them directly from us. Please bear in mind we are a dog friendly accommodation and own various pets ourselves, all bedding is cleaned and changed between every stay however we cannot guarantee there will not be any stray hairs on the bedding - as much as we do our utmost to remove it all. We also have a pizza oven which can be hired from us; hire includes pellets, lighters and matches. Guest access Guests have full use of the field the hut is located in and there is an independent parking bay accessed on the lane.
