We are also walking distance to Henry Cowell Park where you can visit the ancient redwoods. Walk a little farther and you can ride the steam train at Roaring Camp Railroad. We have a nice little restaurant with outdoor seating 3 blocks away or you can drive into downtown Felton in 2 minutes. The beaches in Santa Cruz are a short 15 minute drive away. The Zip line at Mt. Herman Adventures is 5 minutes away. Guest access This is a standalone private suite. Areas on the farm such as the gardens and meadows are shared. Your suite, your entry and your patio are private. Please note there are 12 stairs to navigate to enter the suite and our driveway and pathways are gravel. The farm has flat areas as well as sloped areas and can be challenging for anyone with mobility issues and unfortunately is not walker or wheelchair accessible. During your stay I am available 24/7 by phone. Monday thru Friday I am usually at the farm working and am available to help you with anything. Other things to note We have one horse, chickens, ducks and goats on the farm. You are very welcome to wander the farm during your stay and visit the animals. We just ask that you do not enter their pens for safety reasons. If you have children they must be supervised at all times, we love kids but do not want them to get hurt. This is a real farm, with real equipment and ponds for water collection. We also have quiet hours for all guests between 9pm and 9am. Please note this private suite is listed under Airbnb ‘s category as a room in a private house. This is very frustrating for us because their new algorithm does not have a category for a private suite which is what this listing is. There are no shared spaces, and you do not have access to a kitchen. The suite is set up as a hotel suite with a microwave, coffee maker, and mini fridge. You have your own patio and own entrance and there are no shared living space walls with the main house. Hopefully Airbnb will fix this category problem soon. Please read the cancellation policy, I encourage you to buy trip insurance it’s inexpensive and well worth it. Unfortunately this year I have had a quiet of few last minute cancellations or reservation change requests due to COVID or other family related issues. Please do not expect a refund or a reservation change approval if you cancel anything less than 5 days before. Too many people are doing this, requesting a change to avoid the policy and then canceling after I approve the change. I guess we live in a new world of acceptable behavior… Thanks for understanding.
