Le Caveau, Villa Tempora

40 m² studio in a small stone farmhouse, adjoining the tasting cellar of the Villa Tempora estate. The basement unit consists of a large living area (spacious open-plan living room/kitchen with sleeping options including a sofa bed and/or a low-ceiling mezzanine), and a bathroom. A shared terrace allows you to enjoy your meals outdoors, in a small Mediterranean garden, with views of the vineyards and the surrounding countryside. Photo credit: Alain Reynaud photos The space Villa Tempora is a 5-hectare property located 5 minutes from the historic center of Pézenas and 25 minutes from the beaches, in a quiet and protected environment, without any visual or noise nuisance. The land consists of vines, fruit trees and pine forests, groves, fields and hedges. In the middle of this welcoming nature are our house and our cottages (NB: we also rent a large house with swimming pool that can accommodate 13 people on the property). Come and relax with friends and family in a place where everything is designed to respect people and the land: Organic since 2011, our estate offers a range of fruity and elegant wines. A bottle is offered to all our guests to welcome them and introduce them to our work. Tastings can be arranged on request. Our electricity is 100% renewable, the detergents and products used to wash the sheets are ecological (we work with an ecological laundry), and wifi is available on request. Guest access A car is required to access the area. Other things to note Our vineyard is divided into several plots around the villages of Caux, Gabian and Nefiès, which benefit from a wide variety of soils, exposures and grape varieties. A lot of care and high standards are applied to the cultivation of the vine with constant respect for the environment and the terroir (certified Bio Ecocert since 2011) in order to obtain concentrated fruits with beautiful ripeness. Manual harvesting and natural vinification methods (inputs and handling reduced to a minimum) allow us to produce authentic wines of high quality.
