In the morning, you can have breakfast on the terrace overlooking the natural pond; in the evening, you can sit on the balcony and gaze out over the Alpine panorama, from the Zugspitze to the Wank. The terrace, garden, and pond create little moments that make the stay special. The region’s major lakes – Osterseen, Lake Starnberg, Lake Kochel, Lake Walchen, and Lake Tegernsee – are among the most beautiful in the Bavarian Oberland and are all within a few minutes’ drive. Hiking trails start practically at your doorstep: Benediktenwand, Jochberg, Herzogstand, or the many short routes around Penzberg. If you prefer to travel by bike, you will find a variety of routes through the Bernese Highlands. And for golfers, there are several courses nearby that fit wonderfully into a relaxing day of vacation.
