Located on the Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire border, close to the M1, East Midlands Airport and a mainline train station. Walk to Long Eaton town centre, Spring Lakes Watersports Park and Attenborough Nature Reserve. The space Our home is a spacious 1930’s semi-detached house with lots of character. At La Belle Maison, we offer two comfortable guest bedrooms: Bedroom 1 – a king-size bed with space for a travel cot if needed Bedroom 2 – a cosy double bed Bedroom 3 - a king-size bed for 2 extra guests These rooms share a bathroom, located just outside Bedroom 1 on the same floor. The entire first floor is private for you and your family, giving you plenty of space to relax. Downstairs, we have our own bedroom, but you are welcome to enjoy shared access to our fully equipped kitchen, dining room/sun lounge, and garden. Whether you want to cook a meal, have a peaceful breakfast, or unwind in the sun lounge, you’ll feel right at home. Guest access Your accommodation is on the first floor, along with the guest bathroom, giving you a private space to relax. Our family bedroom and bathroom are on the ground floor, so the upstairs area is completely dog-free. You’re very welcome to make use of our fully equipped kitchen and the sun lounge/dining room during your stay. We also have a large, secure garden that’s perfect for unwinding in the fresh air — and a safe space for children to play. During your stay We’re always happy to help if you need anything during your stay, whether that’s local tips, an extra pillow, or travel advice. If arranged in advance, we can also collect guests from the local train station (Long Eaton). We enjoy socialising with our guests, but we also respect your privacy — the choice is entirely yours. Other things to note Our Furry Family Members 🐾 We share our home with three very friendly cocker spaniels who are very much part of our family. They love meeting new people, but we completely understand that not everyone is comfortable around dogs. If you would prefer not to interact with them, just let us know before your arrival, and we’ll make sure to limit contact during your stay. A few things to note: The dogs do not go upstairs. They are free to wander only past the gate in the downstairs hallway. As they need regular access to the garden, please help us by keeping the conservatory door to the garden closed. This allows them to go outside directly from our ground-floor bedroom without disturbing guests. We really appreciate your understanding and cooperation, and we’re sure our spaniels will bring a touch of warmth and charm to your stay at La Belle Maison.
