Welcome to our home, right at the foot of Senja's most famous mountain! This ad is for "Fjord View", a small twin room with 2 beds. The beds are apart by default, but you are welcome to move them together if you wish. Since this is our smallest room, it is usually booked by solo travellers or couples, who don’t mind that it is cozy. Those wishing for a bit more space might want to look at our 2 bigger bedrooms 🙂 The space Apart from your booked room, you are also welcome to enjoy the shared rest of the house, including the kitchen, 2 living rooms, balcony, patio and the BBQ hut, and shared bathroom. The house has 2 more bedrooms, and we operate it as guesthouse, meaning sometimes other travellers or we might occupy the other 2 rooms. Our house is within walking distance to the trailheads of Segla, Hesten and Barden, as well as public transport, a sauna ship in the harbor, and our 24h supermarket At the right time, you can see the midnight sun or northern lights directly from the balcony, or wait for them while enjoying a bonfire in the BBQ hut on the big patio. Depending on availability, you can also rent snowshoes, skis, SUPs and kayaks (if you have a våtkort or equivalent). Guest access You get one free parking spot with each booked room. If you have more cars you can contact us in advance or park at the town's parking lot, which costs around 300 NOK/30 EUR per day. Other things to note From our house, you can see the mountains and the fjord and the small island Husøy and you will have great views from every room. From our accommodation you can already see Segla and the trail head is only a few minutes away. Even with bad weather, you can chill on our balcony or in the BBQ hut while waiting for the northern lights or midnight sun. The BBQ hut is also a great place to enjoy dinner, maybe you even want to borrow our basic fishing rods to try and catch dinner.
