Idyllic Country Seclusion in the Heart of Devon

Way Farm is a historic Grade II-listed Devon house set above the River Exe in its own valley of over 5 acres of pastureland. Guests stay in a whole separate area of the first floor with its own staircase and access via part of the main house. Even though the property is so secluded the motorway (M5) is only 15 minutes' drive. Tiverton is 5 miles' distance, the cathedral city of Exeter just 20 minutes away. There's fine dining close by - or here, on request. The space Our five hundred-year-old farmhouse sits in just under six acres of land. and the pretty guest suite is part of a conversion done in the 1900s from anY ancient barn adjoining the main house. Your bedroom is accessed via a separate flight of stairs and comes with a beautiful view of the valley and its own luxurious bath, plus a dining area above. There's a shower room and loo in the next room. Towels and bed linen by Designers Guild and Sanderson, bath gel by Molton Brown. Breakfast is available on request: home-made bread with our home-made (award-winning) jam and marmalade, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, Dorset Cereals, fresh orange juice and coffee. You'll find tea, coffee and complementary chocolates in the room. You are welcome to explore the land and there are some lovely walks nearby, such as the ancient encampment at Cadbury. The excellent Ring of Bells gastropub is four miles away in Cheriton Fitzpaine, and plenty of other fine dining is available close by. Dinner is also available at Way Farm. Way Farm enjoys complete tranquility with excellent access to the M5. Exeter 14 miles, town of Tiverton 5 miles, and easy access to Exmoor. We have four friendly dogs - two working, two decorative - and four cats. You are welcome to wander round the land and to swim in the pool (it’s not heated).
