The space The Château de Rosay welcomes you to a historic and truly unique setting, with its stone walls, ancient beams, characterful furniture and preserved medieval atmosphere. The property has 4 bedrooms: 3 bedrooms with double beds and 1 bedroom with 2 single beds. It is ideal for a family stay, a getaway with friends, or for guests attending an event at the Circuit du Miroir, located just 10 minutes away. The rate varies according to the number of guests and the number of bedrooms prepared. The bedrooms are located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the château, in the keep section. Access is therefore via stairs, as is often the case in historic properties. This should be taken into consideration for young children, elderly guests, or anyone with mobility difficulties. The cleaning fee also varies depending on the number of guests staying in the property, as the preparation and cleaning time is adjusted according to the occupancy. For 2 guests, 1 double bedroom is prepared. For 4 guests, 2 bedrooms are prepared. For 6 guests, 3 bedrooms are prepared. For 8 guests, all 4 bedrooms are prepared. If 2 guests wish to sleep in 2 separate bedrooms, please let us know at the time of booking so that the rate can be adjusted accordingly. The beds are made before your arrival, and bed linen and towels are provided for the number of guests stated at the time of booking. You will enjoy warm and welcoming living spaces, a fully equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, board games, a small library and a table football for convivial moments. Please note: the inner courtyard is shared with a house located on the property, occupied by the owners’ son. Each area remains clearly separate so that everyone can enjoy the place peacefully. Guest access Access to the Château de Rosay is via a right-of-way passage. There is a private home located along this access road, occupied by a family with children. For everyone’s safety, we kindly ask you to drive very slowly, at walking pace, when arriving, leaving, or passing through. Please also make sure to stay on the access road leading to the château and not to enter the neighbouring property, which is strictly private. Thank you for your care, vigilance and respect for the premises. Guests have access to the main building of the château, known as the keep, as well as the inner courtyard. The courtyard is shared with a house located on the property, occupied by the owners’ son. Guests may still park there free of charge and enjoy the setting, while respecting everyone’s space. For safety reasons, access to the towers, the walkway and the ramparts is strictly forbidden. These areas are not accessible to guests. Access to neighbouring properties is also forbidden. Please respect the property boundaries throughout your stay. Other things to note Important information before booking The bathroom is currently awaiting renovation. It is fully functional and usable, but its style is older than some of the other rooms in the property. The antique cradle and the wooden child’s bed shown in the photos are decorative only and cannot be used. The fireplace is decorative and must not be lit, due to the risk of fire. For safety reasons, it is strictly forbidden to climb the towers, access the walkway or walk along the ramparts. Only the main building, known as the keep, is accessible to guests. Access to neighbouring properties is strictly forbidden. Cleaning fees, bed linen and towels are included in the price of the stay, for the number of guests stated at the time of booking. Pets are accepted in the gîte under the responsibility of their owners. Please do not allow them on the beds, sofas or armchairs, and make sure to clean up after them outside. The property, furniture, textiles and shared courtyard must be respected. Any damage, deterioration, significant mess or additional cleaning required after the stay may be charged to the guests.
